Banana Milkshake

Sometimes I just want something that tastes like a dessert but still helps me hit my protein for the day. This shake is super easy to throw together and gives you that creamy, milkshake-like texture with minimal ingredients. I usually make it after a workout or when I need something light but filling. The key to that milkshake-like consistency is the frozen banana and ice in substitute of ingredients like ice cream which typically are higher in calorie and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 240ml fat-free Fairlife milk (skim)

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp sugar-free syrup (maple or vanilla both work great)

  • Handful of ice

Optional toppings:

  • Fat-free whipped cream

  • Extra drizzle of sugar-free syrup

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • 37g Protein: An easy way to boost your intake
